Goals

The HHMI Array Project focuses on improving science education at three levels: the undergraduate level, the graduate level, and the K-12 level.

  • Goal 1: Improving Undergraduate Science Education

    • Bringing Microarrays to the Science Classroom
    • Linking Computer Science and Science Students
    • Using Discovery Based Research in Undergraduate Courses
    • Science Distribution Course
  • Goal 2: Improving Graduate Science Education

    • Linking Computer Science and Science Students
  • Goal 3: Improving K-12 Science Education

    • Bringing Microarrays to the Science Classroom

The project accomplishes these goals by giving undergraduates, graduates and K-12 students the opportunity to work on open ended research projects using cutting edge technology across different disciplines.
