Distinguished Lectures in Nanotechnology - for advanced energy materials and catalysts
On Monday, April 3, the next lecture in the series Distinguished Lectures in Nanotechnology for advanced energy materials and
catalysts will take place at Tufts University. The lecture will be given by Dr. Steven Suib, Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the
University of Connecticut, and is titled: "Self Assembly, Molecular Design, and Applications of Porous Transition Metal Oxide Nanomaterials."
The lectures are co-sponsored by an NSF-Nanoscale Interdisciplinary Research Team (NIRT) grant to Tufts and by the Department of Chemical and
Biological Engineering. The NIRT director and organizer of the lecture series is Maria Flytzani-Stephanopoulos, professor of chemical and
biological engineering.
The lecture will take place in Room 136 of the Science and Technology Center, during the Open Block time (12 noon - 1:15 pm) and is open to the public.
