WHO ARE WE? The Center for Applied
Child Development (CACD) is part of the Eliot-Pearson Department of Child
Development at Tufts University
in Medford, Massachusetts. CACD is a professional
development and consultation organization, offering customized
inservice programs to schools and agencies all over New England. All
CACD staff developers are experienced classroom teachers; we work in
teams to help other teachers and administrators improve teaching and
learning. planning, implementing, and evaluating any and all activities related
