Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service
A student's involvement in public service helps to form the foundation of involved
citizenships. Tufts considers this to be so important that it has recently instituted
the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service to encourage student
involvement in community service as part of the curriculum in all its schools and
departments. Tufts regards the type of service-learning practiced at BSOT as a
vital part of a student's education.
