Master's Degree Program
Professional Entry Level Programs: (for non OTRs)
These degree programs normally take two-and-one-half years for a
full-time student to complete.
Eligibility
A bachelor's degree in a field other than occupational therapy. Candidates may
apply while in a bachelor's degree program but must satisfactorily complete all
prerequisite studies and receive a bachelor's degree before matriculating into
the master's degree program.
Prerequisites
(Total of five courses)
All prerequisites must be passed with a grade of B- or better and taken at an
accredited college, including an accredited community college. Candidates may
apply and be accepted while completing the prerequisites. However, all
prerequisites must be successfully completed before matriculation.
- Two courses in Social Sciences, i.e., Anthropology, Psychology,
Sociology, Human Development.
- Two courses in the Biological Sciences, i.e. Biology, Anatomy,
Physiology
- One course in Introductory Statistics.
- Certificate of Hepatitis B vaccination upon enrollment.
