Lecturer
Scott A. Trudeau, M.A., OTR/L teaches course work related to occupational therapy in mental health, geriatrics, and clinical reasoning. As a lecturer at Tufts, he brings his many years of occupational therapy and administrative practice to the classroom, drawing on his extensive experience in psychiatric and geriatric healthcare. His research interests center around factors contributing to successful aging, and issues of adaptation for elders with chronic illnesses like Alzheimer's disease. Scott has studied the contributions that occupations make to maintaining elders in the community with enhanced quality of life. Scott's current work explores topics of home safety, personal care, the dynamics of care giving, and the role of life long learning for community dwelling elders. Scott received
a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy, an Advanced Professional Master of Arts from Tufts, and
a Doctorate in Higher Education from the Lynch School of Education at Boston College.
