Recruitment & Admissions
As an alumna of both the masters and doctoral program, Jill
remained part of Tufts Department of Occupational Therapy in the
roles of Recruitment & Admissions Coordinator and part-time lecturer.
Her longstanding interest in community based and emerging areas of
practice has led to many innovative career opportunities. Along with
her position at Tufts, Jill is currently the staff occupational therapist
for Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers, where her assistive technology and
clinical reasoning expertise guide her consultation to clients as they
build their skills and repertoire for interaction with their assistance
animal and environment. Jill also works for Myomo Inc., a robotic orthotic
company as a clinical specialist. Additionally, her years of experience
working with the geriatric population has led to her pursuing a certificate
in home modifications. Jill enjoys meeting with prospective students to answer
questions about the program and to share her experiences within the field of
occupational therapy as students work towards what they envision will be
their future as an occupational therapist.
