Dr. Brooks teaches courses related to occupational therapy practices in
the area of physical disabilities. She has extensive experience in all
aspects of the health care continuum through her prior involvement in
private practice. Her primary interest include neurological dysfunction
as well as upper extremity rehabilitation in adults. Her research
interests include educational methodology including problem-based
learning and occupation-based practice. She developed the Certificate in
Hand and Upper Extremity Rehabilitation in collaboration with
Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH).Learn more about
