Undergraduate Program: Degree Requirements

Environmental Studies

Requirements:

Environmental work is flush with opportunity for scientists, designers, educators, analysts, planners, writers, and more.

The Environmental Studies Program is taken as a second major by students with multidisciplinary interest in improving and protecting the environment, while promoting sound social and economic development. We foster innovation in learning, teaching, and research to develop scientifically informed environmental literacy for improving the quality of people's lives world-wide.

The major involves eight core courses, three courses in a track of your choice, and an internship that highlights first-hand experience with environmental work outside the classroom. Please visit the Environmental Studies Program, part of Tufts Institute of the Environment.

Details and requirements are described in the Tufts Bulletin.
