Research Interests

  1. Environmental and developmental factors influencing length of larval life and capacity for delayed metamorphosis by larvae of marine invertebrates. Effects of delayed metamorphosis and other larval stresses on postmetamorphic fitness.
  2. Understanding the control of metamorphosis in marine gastropods, and the role of nitric oxide.
  3. Functional properties of invertebrate encapsulating structures.
  4. Sublethal effects of pollutants on marine invertebrate reproductive biology.
