Awarded through the Department of Biomedical Engineering, the following tracks cover interdisciplinary strategies to solve complex biomedical problems; equally diverse in both science and engineering topics of study.

Biotechnology Engineering Degrees

Awarded through the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (ChBE), programs in Biotechnology Engineering are geared towards individuals with a background in chemical, biochemical, or related engineering disciplines.  Elements from classical science are blended within to provide well-rounded training and experience.

Biotechnology Degrees

Awarded through the Department of Chemistry, Biology, or ChBE, programs in Biotechnology are deeply rooted in traditional science for students with their foundation in the Arts and Sciences.  These courses of study incorporate classical biology (e.g., molecular, cell, and developmental biology, and biochemistry) with aspects of chemical and biological engineering.
