TUFTS IMPROVES TO 5-4 WITH 7-2 WIN OVER WESLEYAN

NEW LONDON, Conn. -- The Tufts Women's Squash team completed a sweep of Connecticut-based NESCAC rivals on Saturday with a 7-2 win over Wesleyan. The Jumbos defeated Connecticut College earlier in the day, 7-2.

Freshman Jules Avrutin (Rye, NY) won her second match of the day at #1, 3-2. That was the most exciting win over the day along with sophomore Zoe Bolesta's (Champaign, IL) 3-2 win at #6. She won after losing the first two games. Junior Eliza Drachman-Jones (Waban, MA) had the easiest victory, winning 9-3, 9-5, 9-1 at # 5.
