NEW HAVEN -- Racing 420 dinghies at the Yale Inter-sectional Regatta
over the weekend, the Tufts women's sailing team placed 19th overall.
With two divisions each racing 10 times, the Jumbos posted finishes
accumulating to a score of 303.
In the A division, Tufts sophomore skipper Meghan Pesch (Chicago,
IL) and junior skipper Alyson Yee (Arlington, VA) totaled 163
points for 19th place. The Jumbo pair of junior skipper Margaret Rew
(Princeton, NJ) and sophomore Emily Shaw (Cazenovia, NY) took
16th in the B division with 140 points.
Host Yale won the 20-team regatta with a 117 score.
The Tufts women compete at the Connecticut College's Stu Nelson
Trophy next weekend.
