BOSTON -- Competing at the 45th Head of the Charles Regatta, the Tufts University women's crew team placed sixth in the Lightweight Fours race on Sunday afternoon to highlight Jumbo participation at the prestigious event. The Tufts boat's 21:12.172 time was among the top half in the 13-boat race.

The Tufts women rowed in one race on Saturday. In the Collegiate Fours, the Jumbos crossed the finish line in 22:00.811 for 29th place. In Sunday's Collegiate Eights race, Tufts was 34th overall (21:43.051).

Next Saturday, the Jumbos go to Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester for the Quinsigamond Fall Novice Championships.
