NEW LONDON, Conn. - Junior Jen Fratto (Waltham, MA) scored just 3:23 into regulation, propelling Tufts University (11-2-1, 6-2-1 NESCAC), the seventh ranked team in the NSCAA Division III National Poll, to a 1-0 victory over Connecticut College (5-8-1, 2-7) in NESCAC women's soccer action Saturday.

The victory secured the top seed in the NESCAC Championship Tournament for the Jumbos, who will host the final four in Medford next weekend.

The Tufts defense, bolstered by junior goalie Annie Ross (Newton, MA), recorded its seventh shutout. Ross finished with three saves. Connecticut College freshman goaltender Sarah Beaudoin of Norwich was a bright spot for the hosts. Beaudoin held the seventh ranked team in the nation scoreless, making nine saves in relief duty for the Camels.
