HANOVER, Ind. -- Tufts University junior Jesse Faller (Burlington, MA) is an NCAA men's cross country All-American for the second straight season after finishing 35th at the 2008 NCAA Championship Race on Saturday afternoon at Hanover College.

Running at Nationals for the second straight year, Faller completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 24:59.89. With the top 35 individuals gaining All-America recognition, Faller was 0.88 of a second ahead of North Central's Neal Klein to earn the national award. Faller was also less than two seconds out of the top 30. The race featured 278 competitors overall.

Faller was competing individually at NCAA's for the first time. As part of the team last year, he finished 18th to garner his first All-American recognition.

Hamilton College junior Peter Kosgei won the individual title with a 24:22.03 time. Cortland State, with four runners finishing in the top 20, took the team title.
