KEENE, N.H. -- With the second varsity taking over top duty for the day, the Tufts University men's cross country team placed third out of five teams at the Keene State College Invitational on Saturday.

Tufts grouped together well to accumulate their 73 points, placing all five scorers in spots 10 through 21. Host Keene State won the meet with 33 points and Owl alum Mark Miller won the individual title with a time of 25 minutes, 36 seconds.

Junior Anyenda Inyagwa (Boston, MA) was the first Tufts finisher in 13th place overall, crossing the finish line in 27:46. He was followed closely by senior Chad Uy (Syosset, NY) in 27:51 for 15th place and junior Jesse Dunklee in 27:58 for 17th place. Senior Dan Sullivan (Sterling, MA) was just outside the top 20 with a 28:18 finish for 22nd place. The last Tufts scorer was freshman Ben Silver (Buffalo Grove, IL) in 30th place (28:39).

The Jumbos race in the Open New England Championship at Boston's Franklin Park next Saturday.
