CAMBRIDGE -- The Tufts University co-ed sailing team placed eighth out of 18 boats at the Hatch Brown Trophy hosted by MIT over the weekend. The regatta featured three divisions, with Tufts faring best in the B races.

Junior skipper Andrew Criezis (Evanston, IL) with junior crew Jennifer Watkins (Edina, MN) placed third with 130 points in B Division. The pair had two firsts among 18 races and were among the top five 10 times.

The Jumbos were 10th in the C Division at 181 points. Sophomore skipper Nicolas Russo-Larsson (Newport Beach, CA) and junior crew Roisin Magee (Potomac, MD) won their last race of the weekend.

Tufts finished 15th in the A Division with a 194 score. Senior skipper Tomas Hornos (Swampscott, MA) and classmate Rachel Brill also won the last race in the division and had two thirds.

Tufts' total score was 505. Boston College won the regatta with a 316 score.
