regional performance qualified it to play in the ECAC Championships,
where Dan Weinbeck and Justin Meier led the Jumbos to a sixteenth

the event. Weinbeck was also recognized in 2002 as the NESCAC Rookie

Athletic Conference (NESCAC), whose marquee golf event is the NESCAC
Golf Championship, which takes place usually in late September. The
Jumbos posted a third place finish in this event in 2002, led by
Elliot Barr's 152, good for seventh place individually. Barr's
performance in this event earned him a selection to the 2002 All-NESCAC
