Race Results WILLIAMSTOWN --
The Tufts women's cross country team, running its second seven, took
11th place at the 2007 ECAC Division III Championship hosted by Williams
College on Saturday afternoon. Thirty-one teams overall competed at the
race.
Finishing first for Tufts was Amy Hopkins (Williston, VT), who
completed the six-kilometer course in 24 minutes, 16.7 seconds for 34th
place. Junior Susan Allegretti (Crown Point, IN) was second for
Tufts and 56th overall with a 25:02.2 finish. Right on her heels was
Tufts first-year runner Isabel Hirsh (Durham, CT) in 61st place
with a 25:07.1 finish.
Round the out the scoring for Tufts was first-year Jen Yih (Palo
Alto, CA), who was 88th in 25:58.2, and first-year Tina Millburn
(New York, NY), who came in at 26:08.0 for 97th place.
Host Williams College won the 2007 ECAC title, while Amherst
College's Katie Moravec was the individual champion with a 23:03 time
that edged teammate Kristen Ballinger.
