Carole
is a College Supervisor for Tufts University and the School of the
Museum of Fine Arts, supervising student teachers, Pre-K-12 at their
field sites. She recieved a B.A. in Fne Arts and Art History
form the University of New Hampshire, an M.Ed. from Massachusetts
College of Art and Ed.D. in Education Leadership and Curriculum from
Boston University School of Education.
She has taught art at all levels, teaching middle school art for six
years. Her doctoral dissertation focused on the training of
docents in museum education. She is on the faculty of Lesley
College in Cambridge, MA, teaching graduate students in both the School
of Education and the Creative Arts Learning Program. Her specialty
is guiding teachers for advanced certification, through the research
process of classroom-based inquiry, as well as working with classroom
teachers to incorporate the arts into their curriculum.
Carole is on the board of the Massachusetts Art Education Association,
writing articles and prsenting workshops on research and advocacy
in art education.
