Art History Minor

A minor is Art History is a great way to complement your studies. It broadens your mind provides a good insight into the importance of images and the history of ideas they transport.

For the minor in Art History, five courses are required with at least one course taken at the 100 level. Three of the five courses should be taken on the Tufts campus including the 100 level.

  • FAH 1: Introduction to World Art I
    Two courses pre 1700
    Two electives


  • FAH 2: Introduction to World Art II
    Two courses post 1700
    Two electives

The program for each student will be worked out in detail together with the art history faculty advisor Eric Rosenberg.
