Internships

Senior architectural studies majors may complete an internship for credit as part of FAH 98 (Senior Integrative Project Seminar), which the director of architectural studies will help to arrange. Only as part of this course, taken in spring of senior year, can students receive credit for an internship; the internship for credit cannot be done at any other time or place. Nor does the department otherwise provide formal assistance for students seeking architectural internships. However, many architectural studies students have found for themselves interesting, challenging opportunities in architecture offices and related organizations through personal contacts, professional directories (like that of the Boston Society of Architects), and even local Yellow Pages.
