Welcome, Class of 2011!

Our Mission

The mission of the Academic Resource Center (the ARC) is to help Tufts students study more effectively in order to become independent learners. To that end, we provide free tutoring, study skills and time management workshops, writing support, confidential one-on-one academic counseling, services for students with disabilities, and a variety of other resources to both graduate and undergraduate students.

Spring 2008 Tutoring Information: The ARC typically employs around 100 tutors, including subject tutors covering over 20 popular subject areas and also graduate and professional consultants in Writing, Public Speaking, and Time Management & Study Skills.

To Book a One-on-One Tutoring Appointment: Use our online Tutor Finder.

To See a Tutor without an Appointment: Spring 2008 Drop-in Hours begin on Sunday, January 27th. Download the Drop-In Hours for Spring 2008 >>

Need help finding a tutor? Email us at arctutoring@ase.tufts.edu, call us at (617) 627-4345, or visit our office in Dowling Hall. We cannot promise a tutor for every subject, particularly in courses beyond the introductory level, but we will do our best to match you with someone who can help you.
