  4 The Future of African Studies: African Studies Center and The African Studies Library panel discussion in conjunction with the Africana Librarians Council of the African Studies Association meeting at Boston University.
Moderated by African Studies Center director James Pritchett.
Panelists include Diana Wylie, African History at BU, Pearl Robinson, Political Science at Tufts and Vice President of ASA, and John Mugane, African languages at Harvard.

 26 Dagomba Music & Dance: Kiniwe, Tufts African Music & Dance Ensemble, presents singing, drumming and dancing from Northern Ghana. The event is graced by the presence of Alhaji Dolsi-naa Abubakari Lunna, Professor Locke's teacher and research associate. Co-presented by Tufts Music & Drama/Dance.
