Alex Blanchette awarded the Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of California, Berkeley
This 2015-16 fellowship is for his book in progress, Porkopolis: American Animality, Standardized Life, and the "Factory" Farm.

Rosalind Shaw received a Harry Frank Guggenheim Foundation Award
The Fall 2015 award is for her current book project, Disarming Justice, Demobilizing Memory: Producing Post-conflict life in Sierra Leone.

David Guss was granted a residency in the International Retreat for Writers in Hawthornden Castle, Lasswade, Scotland
The Spring 2015 residency is for his current biographical project, Judgment and Conquest: The Life and Times of Alastair Cram.

Pinto wins major medical anthropology prize
