Resources
The Group of Six consists of the Africana Center, Asian American Center, International Center, Latino Center, LGBT Center and the Women's Center. The centers work collectively and independently to develop knowledge of and appreciation for diversity at Tufts. Staff members at each Center advice and advocate for all students, faculty, and staff. The Group of Six ACT works most closely with the Asian American Center, which was founded in 1983, after a racial incident at the Asian Culture House (Start House) exploded into a series of efforts by the community and administration to provide a safe space and create a resource for educating the Tufts community.
