LOJ RETREAT:
November 8-10th Friday evening-Sunday noon
Cost: $30 (Drivers wanted!!)
contact: arun.gupta@tufts.edu
We just found out that space in the loj for our upcoming retreat is limited
to 25 people...So far about 45 of you have expressed interest in the retreat
which is great, but unfortunately we need to find a way to cut our numbers
down. In an attempt to gauge people's interest, we are going to give
preference to people who A) Have cars, B) Come to the retreat planning
meeting to be held this thursday evening at 9pm in the West Hall lounge and
bring money, and C. People who can get the money in to us as soon as
possible after this upcoming thursday and before the discussion with TTLGBC
on tuesday the 5th. Since we have to cut the numbers down we are requring
that you come for both nights, since it will be logistically difficult and
unfair to others who might not get to go if someone were to stay for one
night. Remember...the retreat is on the 8th and 9th and we plan to return
the morning of the 10th...it will be 30 dollars and all meals are paid
for... We are sorry about
the limited space, but once again its also great that so many people are
interested and we will try to plan some more social events for the near
future...

http://www.wiretapmag.org/story.html?StoryID=14314
For many young people, being multiracial means much more than wishing you
fit in. For some, like college sophomore Maikiko James, it means building a
world where fitting in is beside the point.
