DevTech Team: Melissa Lee

Melissa is a second-year Master’s student at the Eliot-Pearson department of Child Development at Tufts University. Prior to enrolling in Tufts University, she obtained her B.A. from the National University of Singapore with a double major in English Language and Sociology. Her interest in child development grew as she spent three years working in children’s theatre and subsequently spent five years teaching acting to children in preschools and elementary schools in Singapore Melissa has been a graduate research assistant with the DevTech Research Group for the past year, working on the ScratchJr project. She is interested in understanding how ScratchJr is used in classrooms - how different teaching styles using technology can impact student learning.
