DevTech Team: Kaitlyn Leidl

Kaitlyn is the Program Coordinator at the DevTech Research Group. She completed her undergraduate degree at Tufts University in 2013, where she double-majored in Child Development and Spanish, with a minor in Communications and Media Studies. After graduation from Tufts, Kaitlyn was employed for two years in the public television industry at WNET New York Public Media. There, she worked as an Associate Producer to create educational documentaries, local news and arts programs, and a national science and technology show.

Kaitlyn returned to Tufts in the summer of 2015 to combine on her background in educational media and STEM curriculum development with her interests in human-computer interaction, robotics, and the intersection of education and emerging digital platforms. She now works at the DevTech Research Group under Professor Marina Umaschi Bers. Her main responsibilities include outreach for ScratchJr and KIBO, research assistance, and lab management.
